Continuing the 30th anniversary celebrations of the Nike Air Max 90 is this Radiant Red colorway that will be releasing in a couple of weeks. The titular “Radiant Red” pops off the monochrome base, with hits at the tongue, medial overlay, mid-panel Swooshes, and Air supports, the latter coming encased in a classic white midsole/black rubber outsole combo. Atlus is a Japanese video game developer, publishing company and arcade manufacturer. Official imagery has revealed that the pair will sport a much darker aesthetic than its OG counterpart, with jet black mesh uppers offset by Wolf Grey overlays. Now, as it appears, the division will be doing the same thing for the long-awaited release of the Air Max 90 “Infrared” - aka “Radiant Red” for the OGs - with a matching Air Max 97 set to touch down the same day. The upper features breathable black mesh, reinforced with grey leather overlays and a black leather mudguard. Rounding off the celebration is a white midsole as well as a black and Radiant Red outsole to complete the closest rendition to its original form.When the Nike Sportswear team revived the OG Air Max 90 “Laser Blue”earlier this year, they also allowed its striking color palette to grace a bevy of alternate Air Max silhouettes - including the Air Max 97.
